You can still determine which palace you are in by checking the Iron Knuckle statue at the beginning (1, and 5 have no items, 2 will always be a jar, 3, 4, and 6 have a 50% chance of being a jar and a 50% chance of being a red Iron Knuckle) and by the room layouts.
